I am in a world of trouble financially and I’m not sure how to fix it. I lost my job two years ago and racked up a lot of credit card debt. At the time I thought I would simply pay it back once I got a job. I was collecting unemployment but that alone was not enough to get by. At that time I was living with my friend Wayne and he didn’t help matters. He was more broke then I was and often times I had to pick up part of his rent. I did finally find a new job but by then the damage was done. There’s no way I can pay all of that back and have just been making the lowest payment I can on all the cards. My only hope is talking to my friend Marlene. She works at a bank and maybe she knows of a debt consolidation program or something I can get into. I need to stop in to see her soon because I’m tired of living like this.
